looking for a stylish ATX case with support for a 12 inch GPU (open air designed), 1 SSD, 1 HDD, 1 ODD, and a standard PSU (not required but a 240mm rad mount would be a nice feature as well as some good cable management designs)

Do you guys have any recommendations? Most cases seem to have an excessive amount of wasted space in them which is disappointing :/

$50~ budget preferred

My card is a double slot card and my mobo only has 16x slot as the second pci slot meaning the length has to be long in slot 2 and 3

I would say expand your budget just a touch and pick up a NZXT S340. It's the best bang for the buck at the price right now and has everything you need, want, and more.

...except it doesn't because it doesn't have ODD support

I'd say get an external optical drive then, they aren't very expensive, and you get very little use out of the mowadays, heck i think the last time i used mine was to install drivers.

otherwise, well, i'm not sure about just HOW compact you want it (maybe a micro ATX case might be in order), but i've been using a Fractal Design Core 3000, it's not huge, but it might not be the sort of 'style' your after (if your interested in a micro ATX case i may wish to point you in the direction of the ThermalTake Core V21)

most matx cases are nice sized, at the moment I have a mid tower atx case and its just slightly takes up too much space. I really like the s340 like was recommended IF only it had an optical drive...I do some home video copying for family and friends so an ODD is absolutely necessary

that looks nice, but if i have rad+ fans in the front of the case I won't be able to fit my Gpu

how thick is that rad?? (you can put the fans on the inside of the front panel and the rad inside the case)

I don't actually have one at the moment, It probably will happen though is why I say someones  9.5 in card barely fits with a rad and fans I noticed on youtube

Maybe look a a define R4 since the prices are down since the R5 is now out. If you had the money I would say just get a R5.

Dang I just wish they would put the ability to throw a slim line opti-drive into an s340 style case...would solve so many problems for people who need an odd

grab a USB 3.0 or eSATA enclosure for your existing internal one? That would basically equal out to getting a R5 though...

Dude, let me just tell you this straight up.

If you're worried about rad support and all of this other stuff $50 is too low.

yep, I say $50 is too low for anything but the bare minimum.

I was going to mention the FT05 until I saw the $50 budget... umm... Fractal Design Core 2300?

Me to.

Than I saw the 50$, was going to say s340.

Then I saw odd.

You can't get that compact of a case with odd.
