Oh .... Ok .... So I guess if you are doing data migration then install the disk. Magician no matter what, I would recommend download from website as that will usually be the latest version.

Should I pop in the disk that came with it and install the software?

I am planning on downloading the magician if that makes a difference.

Just download it. But I would install it... the migration tool is nice, and magician optimizes the drive. I do it on my rigs.

Just to clarify. You're saying to DL magician and also install what's on the software disk that came with the SSD?

The software disk contain only the magician software right? Not sure as I don't bother with the disk usually. :P
