As of April 7 2015 1:08 am my PC Build is... PC PARTS LIST(disclaimer: i forgot what ram i have but i know its 8 GB)

Recently it was my birthday and I came up on some extra cash. I'm willing to spend around 250 give or take. This is my first PC Build and its been just over a year and a few months, recently I have been having a lot of freezing or frame drops out of nowhere. When I first built it I was able to run everything smoothly. I play mostly CS, battlefield, just about most RPGs, some of the general triple A titles, looking very forward to be playing GTA, and I LOVE to mod, just kinda hard because my pc can't handle all of what I want to do, what can I say I like visually beautiful things. Any help would be appreciated! THANK YOU

An SSD wouldn't hurt to have in your PC. You could sell off your graphics card + w/ your birthday cash you can buy a second hand 770, r9 290x or new 970 :). I am not very knowledgeable with Intel CPUs but as far as I know you could either upgrade to a i5 or wait for the new Zen processors from AMD next year. Keeping that FX 6300 around for another year wouldn't hurt too much. :)

 junker build in the making

Huh... so you spend around 400$ on stuff that doesn't provide ANY performance boosts, while spending less than that on the things that ACTUALLY mater; and now you are complaining about a poor performance? Wow.... Those kids nowadays........

I'd start by formatting your HD. You probably did something weird there, hence the sudden stutters. If that doesn't solve, grab a CPU cooler and boost the heck out of the core frequency of your Fx 6300. If that's still not enough... then come back to us, and tell us if the CPU cooler trick alleviated the stuttering or if it had no effect at all. We can decide what to do later.
