Cheap decent webcam

Hey guys ive been having some issues with my webcam just dying mid skype call.I get the usb disconnect sound and it drops, im gonna get a new one anyone recommend me a replacement preferable cheap, im not hugely needing in specs i just need a cam...

 

 

Also i may have killed some pixels using my OP laser....

while this is a really bad solution, i use my old android phone as a webcam, using an app called "droidcam"

 

it basicly connects trough wifi (or usb as well i believe) and an application on your pc picks it up and outputs the video signal as a regular webcam.

 

otherwise, i've had great luck with a logitech webcam, and quite a deal of bad luck with a könig webcam.

EDIT EDIT: i should explain my love for logitech: back in 2002 we got this free "logitech quickcam" with our broadband internet package. it has been reliable troughout the lifetime of 2 windows XP laptops (with the included software disk) then when i got my windows vista laptop, i went on a hunt and found a semi-official driver for windows vista, that -aside from lacking some features- worked flawlessly troughout the life of the laptop, it even outlived the before mentioned könig webcam that was supposed to replace it -as the video quality was nothing to be hyped about- .

I use it and it works great

i bought it for $60 but I think you can find it cheaper in places
