Laptop vs Ultrabook

What would you rather a $1200 laptop or a $1200 ultrabook. I'd rather the ultrabook because it's lighter and thinner although it is less powerful but I think the ultrabook would be much better.

An ultrabook is portable. A laptop is powerfull. I like ultrabooks because I already have a desktop.
