How to Store Computer Components

I took a wireless card and a stick of ram out of a laptop that I no longer use because I didn't want to throw them out, they are nice to have around. But, is it safe to store them both in the same non-static bag or should I store them seperatly?

It's fine to leave them in a drawer. Static shouldn't be an issue for storage. Graphics cards come in an anti-static bag because it is being transported and static from bubble wrap can build up. Being static should not cause this.

Put it anywhere you like, just be aware that anti static bags are anti static on the inside but on the outside they are very static so don't PC parts on-top of it

I have a wifi card sitting on my wooden shelf. It's fine there until I need it again. I wouldn't recommend storing them where they could come into contact with a large metal object like a desk or shelf as they could get shock from those items.

Hard drives's motherboards,gpu's should be stored in static bags,i store them in static bags in their original boxes in a dry area.Everything else is just lying around.

Ive stored them as built unused systems.

 

For extras I always keep them in anti static bags. (tip hoard all the anti static bags you get!)
