USB Storage Transfer

Can I transfer storage from one USB to another. For example - I have 8GB USB and 2 GB USB. Can I get those 2 gigabytes and put them on the 8GB USB so it can be 10GB USB???

are you trolling?

that isn;t how this works. NO you can't

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

You can create a raid 0 to create a 10GB partition but both USB sticks still need to be plugged in for it to work.

WHUT. can you really even RAID USBs? why would anyone even do this?

Haven't tried it myself but saw a video where someone did it, main thing is performance increase

you can pool the drive, windows 8 had the ability to pool storage, in that video I believe he use Mac software RAID

but you will lose the ability outside the OS that you use, and you will lose the data if the single drive is failing

the point having USB storage is for portability

No.

Using raid 0 would create a 4GB volume.

Can Anybody Link A Virtual Machine while I go download some RAM?

Yeah sorry, I forgot that when you put 2 drives of a different size in raid 0 you only get the smallest volume x 2. A spanned volume is what I meant
