but it's out of stock right now.

also, you have two 980s, why get a titan X? the 2x 980 is better than a singular titanX

oh, and @is2910 follow your threads....

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

As far as I know the black box packaging only comes if you order direct from Nvidia.  EVGA and other board partners will not send the Titan X in the black packaging.  Check out the pics on the New Egg listing. Evga has their own box.

I ordered from NVIDIA direct and got the black packaging.

The black box is nVidia exclusive. And I doubt that most of the people that bought the card from nVidia will give away the box... too nice ;).

I´ve got 2 stock heatsinks laying around here, thinking about what I will do with them.

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

For $1079 including tax it should be titanium.  The box is very smooth to the touch and the X is raised tape.  The card sits in stiff styrofoam padding and it has a notched padding inside the top of the box.
