Greetings,

I currently am in the process of putting some parts into a new case (case will likely be an Obsidian 650D) and was wondering if I could get a recommendation for the following:

I have GTX 680 (1) - but I would like to add SLI

8 gig Cosair Vengance 1600 RAM

i5 2500K - which I want to overclock

Can someone give me a good mobo recommendation - money is not really an object .

Thanks,

john

Well I have:

A system I purchased from Maingear. However, I got the Cube and the small form factor will not let me overclock becuase of heat. Also, the Mobo won't do SLI.

So I have:

i5 2500k

gtx680 - reference

8gig Corsair Vengeance DDR3

660w 80+ Gold power supply

stock CPU cooler

ASUS Sonar Essence STX sound card

I want to overclock and perhaps add second GTX680 at some point. Hope this helps.

If you're overclocking then get rid of that stock cooler. :P

If money is not an object like with the motherboard, get a Swiftech H220.

Or go crazy and have a custom water cooling loop. :)
