I'm looking for suggestions, comments, and the like on the build i've designed for 1080p ultra gaming and productivity, I am 100% open to suggestions, and alternate part ideas, but i'd rather not have to change everything. Keep in mind if you design a build for me, make sure it fits into my $2000 Canadian budget, and make sure it includes all peripherals including a mouse, preferably a mechanical keyboard, and a pair of decent headphones, but alas, this is what I have so far (WARNING: WALL OF TEXT):

PCPartPicker part list: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/cXtDFT

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($415.00 @ Canada Computers) --Solid hyperthreaded CPU with a good enough base clock that I may not even have to overclock, but I still likely will, and excellent productivity abilities due to hyperthreading.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($34.75 @ Vuugo) --A good enough cooler that allows for some overclocking, although maybe not a rediculous overclock, all the reviews i've read prove it to be a reliable, solid cooler for the money.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($158.98 @ Newegg Canada) --A solid motherboard from a reputable brand, gives me all the bells and whistles I need for my purposes.

Memory: Kingston Fury Black Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  ($139.99 @ NCIX) --Just a solid 16GB kit of RAM, not much else to say.

Storage: Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($119.98 @ DirectCanada) --Boot drive and essential programs that require the speed.

Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($91.50 @ Vuugo) --Steam/Games library for faster game loading and such.

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($92.98 @ DirectCanada) --Mass storage for Movies, Pictures and music.

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card  ($395.00 @ shopRBC) --A GTX 970 offers probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to gaming at 1080p, I doubt i'll ever upgrade my monitor to anything higher resolution, so this should work well for a while.

Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($89.99 @ Memory Express) --Just a solid case from a solid brand.

Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($79.99 @ NCIX) --Excellent power supply from a super reliable OEM (Superflower)

Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition 67.8 CFM 140mm  Fan  ($18.01 @ DirectCanada) --I just wanted extra airflow through my case, it fits into my budget anyway.

Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition 67.8 CFM 140mm  Fan  ($18.01 @ DirectCanada) --See above ^^

Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K70 Wired Gaming Keyboard  ($139.00 @ NCIX) --Solid mechanical keyboard, has cherry MX Blues which I love, I was going to get the K70 RGB but it didn't come in Blues.

Mouse: Corsair M65 RGB Wired Laser Mouse  ($79.98 @ DirectCanada) --Just a decent mouse, looks pretty good, and feels great in my hand as i've used it at a friends house.

Headphones: Kingston HyperX Cloud Pro Headset  ($78.98 @ DirectCanada) --Just your typical set of "Gaming" headphones, although I am going to remove the crap mic and replace it with my own.

Total: $1952.14

Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

You may want to read http://community.wd.com/t5/Desktop-Mobile-Drives/WD1003FZEX-CAVIAR-BLACK-poor-access-time-explained/td-p/658549 before settling on that particular model of WD Black.

In general the speed differential between drives is very small. Interestingly I have not been able to find any WD published specs on their current Black models. They seem very reluctant to publish data on average seek/access times, number of platters/heads, etc.

As a gross generalization, higher capacity hdd tend to have faster timings due to higher platter densities/counts and more read/write heads.

IMO, you would be much better off getting a 3TB, 7200 rpm drive. Or getting a 500GB or 1TB ssd for system and games and a 2TB hdd for media storage.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
