295x2 vs powercolor Devil 13?

Just curious about this...

The 295x2 is AMD dual 290X reference design and comes with the AIO water cooler for the GPUs.

The Devil 13 is a dual 290X custom design by Powercolor. It is air cooled with a massive 3 slot cooler and has an impressive power circuitry. It also bundles with a free Razer aourobourus mouse.

It overclocks a bit more than 295x2 but it is hotter. Requires great case airflow.

For the same price, which one is the better option?

I would pick up the Reference "295x2", as even if the Devil 13 has the potential to overclock higher, it will get hotter on AIR, which will result in the rest of your computer being hotter.

If you have room for that radiator i would pick up the 295x2.

Unless you don't have room, want a free mouse the devil 13 isnt really a bad choice.

I agree, looks very bad ass!! I would choose that over a reference, sure its dumping heat into the case but if your using something like this im sure the case will be well vented.

Case is a Coolermaster HAF XB Evo.

Currently aircooled CPU with silverstone HE01 and case is being cooled with two front AP141 fans to keep positive air pressure.

Get the reference. The devil card is so much worse. Really loud and hot.

The case has a rear 120mm fan mount that I currently have unused.
