Never did a build log, but hey it's never too late right!

I started this build back in September thinking that I had a beast of a machine and that I can crush all games as I came from a Dell Laptop that
that consisted of an Core i3-370m, Intel Graphics and 3GBs of RAM. At the time, the games I really wanted to play and only played is and still
is League Of Legends. After solely building this PC I got really bored of League, and started to buy games on Steam such as Watch Dogs,
CS:GO, and Test Drive Unlimited 2. CSGO and Test Drive Unlimited 2 ran no problem but Watch Dogs on Ultra settings at 1080p actually didn't
do as bad but I did notice some stuttering. I then started reading the sub-reddit /r/buildapc and everyone seemed to bash on AMD's APUs and
that if I wanted to play more demanding games, I would have to upgrade to something more intense. I guess this is what I get for planning
a build in less than a week. I continued to use this PC and researched some more about what parts I should get next and what I should do with
my old parts. I was looking to get an i7 but after snooping around, for gaming the i5-4690k is a very solid CPU. I then went with that,
shopping for motherboards, I didn't care much for functions but the MSI Z97S Krait really caught my eye. Now lets just let the pictures do the
talking :)

First Custom PC

This build was actually a duplicate of Austin Evans Photon Build with a bit of customization

This was still pretty dam amazing. But then...

ANOTHER TRANSFORMATION?!

First off... Case comparison!
[spoiler=] d3f07d8910f2fd20b1430f89334d4009.png

Ordered the following:

• Arctic Cooling MX4 - wanted to try overclocking and temps were high even for stock on liquid cooler
• Intel 730 Series 480GB SSD - needed a drive just for Steam/Games
• Seagate Barracuda 2TB - To store files/documents/music
 • EVGA 750W 80+ Gold PSU - Needed more power to SLI
 • NZXT H440 White - Wanted a white case, wanted to fit a CM Nepton 240M I had stored away....
• NZXT Hue - Saw many magnificent builds done with this case and when it's lit up, oh god... Dem feels....
 • Another EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked ACX2.0 - MORE HORSEPOWER YO (Brother bought it for me as a thank you for passing him the A8 Rig)
• EVGA SLI Pro Bridge - Again, for the aesthetics
• Aerocool DS 140mm Fans - Was deciding between this or Noctuas, they look really cool, came out very recent. When I got them, they felt
VERY VERY solid. Weren't flimsy at all.

It was suppose to be an overclock from 3.5GHz (Stock) back to the 4.8GHz @1.3v I had before testing. Put it back up to 4.8GHz, whole PC shut down just like that, restarted by itself, check Hardware Monitor, thought I was seeing things, folks on here told me to use CPU-Z.
