Try typing \\192.168.1.254 in your Windows Explorer location bar

Why 2.1? His NAS is on 1.254.

Yes, I did do this and as you can see in the pic here http://imgur.com/8BKOwgj on the left you can see the server and i have the drivers linked to my PC but i still cant see it under the "Computer" where it always was and i have no idea how to get it back.
