Iphone 4 not turning on.

Today, I just walked over to my iphone, it is working now :P Full charge from night :P Probs just needed more time :P Thx for whom tried helping :DxD

          Ok.. I haven't used my iphone 4 in a while... I got it last year for the OS experience :P But I have a offbrand charger. I have had this baby lying around, last use maybe about a month ago. When I plug it in.. even for about 10+ minutes it still only shows the battery low screen, in which it doesn't boot.. normally it would boot from a dead battery in 5- minutes from plugin.. What is the issue??

It looks dirty in that charging area.. I'ma try  cleaning that out :/ I already started that.

Have you tried leaving it on charge until it has charged?

       Issue is I think it detects the charger.. but it isn't charging..

I tried cleaning out the inside.. just a small pink thingie I can't get out :P     But if the battery is broken.. I would scream because its a iPhone... No, it isn't my daily driver. I use a Samsung Galaxy Avant. This still won't turn on.. I may have to go find a new charger.. Idk were the origional apple charger is :P(Lost somewere, and which its cords are about to snap, last I saw it many months ago.
