get the 4670K and a 770 instead of a 4770K and 760. much better in-game performance for the same price.

(4670K is the replacement for the 3570K, correct?)

Who said I need for gaming, I need it for rendering and video editing :)

Finishing up my build...

Video editing/rendering needs more RAM and CPU power, rather than GPU power and CUDA/stream processors.

I thought CUDA cores did help with some applications that could take advantage of them.?!

PROFILEYEAH

What do people even put in these things?

They do, but nothing exponentially greater performance from a GTX 770 over a GTX 760. It also depends on what software you use, not just what type. Sony Vegas Pro 12 has GPU-accelerated video processing supporting both AMD and NVIDIA using OpenCL. Adobe Premiere Pro utilizes CUDA, but you won't see a huge jump from GTX 760 to GTX 770 either. Most of the work is still done on the CPU and RAM.

sorry, it's just that most people are looking for gaming rigs. you didn't specify your use scenario.

regardless, a 760 will perform admirably in games, and the 4770K is quite good for what you want.
