ASUS's Ares II.

If you get past how fancy and the cool the cooler looks then you will notice that it isnt even the best types of cooler out there, the fool that put a baby little fan when a bigger one could be used. The Ares 2 was rushed and they tried to hide that behind a nice appearance and the fact that they had to watercool it shows that they failed to do it properly as well as i doubt they would have wanted to make it water cools due to the sheer costs of it.

Why a 4gb version?

The card is great but its noticeable at higher resolutions that the vram is bottlenecking it. I dunno how long you will have the card for but its best to predict more vram usage as time passes so 4gb ram is better in the long run as games start to use more and more ram.

you know you can make your ultimate GPU cooler your self too? there is a lot of videos out there people buy a Corsair H60 and make it cool their GPU.

the performance is outstanding and beetter than anycooler out there im talking about a WOOPİNG 50C at full load on a titan o.O

I don't really want to put any extra money into something like that. I am kind of on a right budget. It seems cool though.

I am planing on using the card as long as I can.

Yes, The Windforce cooler is loud, but cools very well. Good for 24/7 mining/folding but you would always want an extra fan even if your room is freezing.

If you have the monies, go for any card with custom power delivery for better overclocks. You can always change the cooling solution afterwards.

Thanks for the help. I really don't want to change the cooler myself if I dont have to. btw I have been trying to figure this out. Is your profile picture of a old cpu on top of 4 stale marshmellows?

Ah, don't worry too much about it. Every card's cooler will be more than enough (for rated speeds), except for dual gpu cards. The coolers on those dual gpu cards are good enough to power the card on for a few moments before you install your own cooling solution.

What did you decide on? As long as it is custom or aftermarket, it'll be much better than any reference cooler. I'd go with a card that has a custom PCB/power delivery and no cooler. I'll add my own, tyvm, MSI.

It's a P4 HT, delidded. Fresh marshmallows btw. Nice and stable.

With that in mind it is crucial that you get a 4gb model as in maybe 2,3 years the games will use more vram and 2gb will only bottleneck you.

I am still deciding between a MSI Nvidia GeForce 770 Gaming Edition and a Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce 770 Windforce edition 4gb. I am starting to lean more towards the Windforc since it will look better in my build, but I don't like the extra cost. Other people have been saying go with the 4gb since it will last long with the extra ram, so I guess I would rather fork over the money now instead of paying way more on a brand new card. Hopefully which ever card I choose will last me at least 4 years. Can you buy a card without the cooler for less money?

I thought I replied to this o.O

Go for the one you like. More Vram would be good for high res games. But more vram means you could be limited to amount of memory overclocking you can do with the card. Not that memory overclocking does a lot, more core clock will be more helpful. Not sure where we'll be in four year though.

You won't be able to buy a gpu without the cooler unless you know someone who broke their cooler and it just trying to get some of their money back.
