Hey Guys,
I am doing this Workstation Build for a friend of mine. I am pretty set on all the parts, really just want to check if there is anything I have overlooked or if I had a brain fart ^^. I know this is more on the expensive side, and it might seem overkill to some of you. Trust me though, we have discussed it extensively and decided that the CPU and GPU are indeed the best options. She wants to keep a Black/Red theme btw. ^^
Without further ado :D

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2630 V3 2.4GHz 8-Core Processor ($628.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Thanks for you opinions in advance :)

The Titan X is the best single Card option for GPU rendering.

The H100i might be a good idea purely for the rgb led

@themaniac @Laputacake

whats wrong with the RM750?

(btw. Cablemods Red/Black cables will be added)

@Ace Lean

The 900D is way too big. She likes this case. Noctuas are loud and not black. A second SSD is unnecessary. The 500GB she has are more than enough for programs and some games. The 4TB HDD for local files plus her 16TB NAS for everything else will be just fine. A second SSD would be nice purely for cosmetic reasons.

there is nothing wrong with it, its just that the g2 is better quality and i believe you can buy cable sleeve's for it but i'm not too sure about that

how do you figure that? I had the RM for a year now, no problems with it. Like I said, Cables will be bought custom anyways.

a bit more expensive in Germany :D

the fully black PSU would look better than the RM. Last question would be, if 750W is enough for TitanX Sli. I am pretty sure It's enough...

well pcpartpicker say that the build you made with 2 titan x's will use around 700 so i think it should but  i would get the 850 watt version to be safe

100% positive. Its not like GTX 780 SLI was impossible from 750W and the Titan X should lie in a similar wattage range.

who cares...

I checked and the card seems to draw just under 400W under load just like the 780Ti. So 850W it is xD

Yeah you really shouldn't go below 850W with that thing. Isn't X99 also a bit more powerhungry than Z87/Z97 generations?

But 850 will definetly be enough, runs my AMD rig just fine and thats eating away on electricity even more :P

I don't really see any benefit to having the H105 on a Xeon. There won't be a whole lot of heat being kicked out by the cpu and it can't overclock. Also the H105 will be louder than a decent air cooler for half the price. Although looking again I see that money is not an issue, but the noise factor still stands. If you are dead-set on getting teh H105 then I recommend you at least get better fans for it, the stock corsair fans are jet engines D:

I question the Titan X. I know money is no issue, but that doesn't mean you should just buy the most expensive you can find (no offense). The Titan X is a gaming card, not a workstation card, but I don't know  the best recommendation for workstation cards. That said the Titan X won't perform terribly, but I feel you can do better for the money if there will be no gaming done on this rig.
