How do I get MSAA/MFAA in Minecraft?

Minecraft is a great game, but how can I avoid the aliasing that comes with the blocky textures? Mipmap doesn't help much, and Astrophic Filtering is no longer supported, how can I get some Anti-aliasing with out using mods?

I dont think that is possible to do it without mods

Unless you know how to program in Java your going to need to resort to mods.

Are you looking for an alternative texture pack or legit AA?

I know there are 512x512 pixels textures (as opposed to the 16x16 vanilla ones)

Go to the nvidia control panel, then using the menu select minecraft as the program you want to adjust. That will bring up a slew of options including Anti aliasing

i think its 2 or 4x not sure

So I could adjust the levels? And does it support MFAA?

Well, I haven't done it in a while but assuming you have an nvidia card it could go up pretty high? But I am not sure so just try it out

Just get optifine, it is one click install and has aa and a lot of other useful stuff.

After 1.8 was released, optifine and alot of other mods are either behind or, (in optifine's case) very buggy and unstable.
