This reliable brand? Anybody ever got a monitor from Crossover?

They look cheap.

Never heard of them.

What do they make?

I currently have in my setup a Crossover 290M which is their 29" 21:9 1080p model. I bought the monitor from ebay for 250 euros 6 months ago from Korea with free shipping included and with a warranty that the panel would have 0 dead pixels. From my experience using it, the monitor deserves every euro I spent for it. The panel is amazing, the same that LG uses in its monitors that cost 2 times more. The build quality is outstanding for an unknown company, with a full metal construction that arrived scratch-free and the stand is very steady. But there are some disadvantages. The only input is DVI-D, which for this resolution is absolutely fine, but it would be nice to have HDMI or even a single DisplayPort. Also, there is no menu to do on-monitor adjustments, apart from adjusting the brightness. If you need anything specific from my experience, I will be glad to answer all questions!

As of the repair costs if everything bad happens, I think that the internals are similar to the LG models. I can disassemble the monitor and list the parts if you like. But I don't think it will be difficult to change any component, even if it needs some DIY technics. For 250 euros, it was a compromise I was willing to make.
