Hey I've recently just gotten into computers and PC parts etc. and have planned my first build. To start I am buying as high end and big products that my price range can handle for future proofing reasons,I have planned to have CM Storm Trooper Case, A Nvidia Geforce 970 GTX G1, i74790K, 16GB of DDR3 2400mhz Corsair Vengeance ram, WD Black 1TB, Gigabyte LGA 1150 mother board, 750W Corsair Bronze certified power supply, Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD and a Asus VX238H Ultra-Slim LED gaming Monitor. I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback and check that all parts are compatible as I am not too sure. Also I was wondering if you could tell me if the case ahs the ability to ahve a Blu-Ray/Disc reader put into it. Thanks :)

Pretty overkill for a first PC but if you wanna smash every game at 1080P/1440P (maybe?) this should work amazingly. Some parts (such as the PSU) could be downgraded but this is still a great pc. My friend has a 970 and he can get over 80 fps on assassins creed unity at max 1080p so this system should be good enough for just about anything you can throw at it at 1080P.

Yeah, that's right, that CPU doesn't support more than 1600mhz for the RAM

I recommend you to use a motherboard with the Z97 chipset (Asus or Gigabyte) and the FTW version of the gtx970 it's a little bit better than the G1. Also, the PSU is too powerful, u should buy a cheaper one because the components you want to buy doesn't need a powerful power supply.
