Hello guys I wanted to pre-order GTA V, however a trusted website sells russian cd keys as well and its for a cheap price like for 40$ so was wondering if there are any differences between a regular cd-key and a russian. Do i need a russian account? is it only russian language? Can I redeem it on my CAD steam account? Will I be able to change the language in the future?

its will be in russian and/or u may need to use a russian VPN to activate it my friend got a russian key from G2A for cod mw2 he had to use a VPN and i had to send him some language files it also doesnt show that you are playing it on steam

 

EDIT: i wouldn't buy it others are saying that u cant do it any more

AFAIK, you can't redeem keys bought in Russia, on a US/Canadian/UK etc. steam account

russian steam keys are region locked, because of how cheap games are there, and the current state of the ruble

If it says it's russian then it's in russian.

 

Only go for Global Keys, or EU / US depending on where you live.

 

Also, i'd stick to pre-ordering it on Steam tbh. Save any hassle.
