Since my case is small and doesn't get much airflow, should I get a blower fan for the back card instead of open design?

Don't ever, EVER get a blower fan.

And would you like to explain why you shouldn't get a Blower style card for SLI in a small case on air?

Because you know the only downside is that the cards run warm all the time. But its better then choking the top card with hot air that is dumped into the case from the bottom card.

Because mine gets to 83c under load

Yes, get blower

You see I don't know because blower = better general airflow

But open air = quieter operations

Set a fan curve. The 770's I use to have at 1.38GHz on the core with a 65% fan speed still kept them quite and cool when gaming. With out a fan curve they are gonna hit 80C sometimes even warmer. Nvidia GPU's fan curve is optimized for silence but you can change that.

Open Air= Top card running hotter and potential to be actually louder

Blower= Better General Airflow and can have a more noise optimized fan curve

What Idle noise. I could bring my 770's when I had them down to 10% fan speed at idle if I really wanted to. under 65% fan speed blower cards are almost in audible

yeah AMD cards were hella loud for blower style. My 280 Gaming though hits 11% fan speed under 100% load so I almost a silent PC just need to replace my top fans.

Do it right and go full custom watercooler with external monster radiator. You´ll never have any issues. No noise no heat just nice performance.

Terrible idea for a shitty case like mine, I'm 16 its too expensive and I'm impatient and apply brute force to this that won't work so custom is a really bad idea.

But yeah really fucking sexy
