Kubuntu Wi-Fi issue

Hey guys,

I want to install Kubuntu on my laptop but I can't get it connected to the internet via wi-fi. It can't find any networks. Any suggestions?

try a temp. hardline?

 

i run kubuntu on my programming-in-VIM notebook!

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Tried Ubuntu 15.04... same thing. :(

Try updating to the latest stable kernel?? Fixes WiFI and Trackpad issues for me in Linux Mint :)

Don't worry about wireless during installation.

Realtek's linux wireless drivers aren't that great tho.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.
