Fastest and Final Big Single core flagship? Intel? or FX-57

What was the last big, fast, and hot single core flagship launched by the big 2? FX-57? Some P4?

Does anyone on LTT have one? i always wanted to see how a 55 or 57 would run modern games, they ran PCIe, so you could throw a Titan X at one if you were crazy

Intel i5-3570K/ Gigabyte GTX 1080/ Asus PA248Q/ Sony MDR-7506/MSI Z77A-G45/ NHD-14/Samsung 840 EVO 256GB+ Seagate Barracuda 3TB/ 16GB HyperX Blue 1600MHZ/  750w PSU/ Corsiar Carbide 500R

Well there were a few Pentium 4s

I think the P4 672 or something is the fastest one, it was a 3.8GHZ P4 released at the end of 2005, The FX-57 was a 2.8 GHZ proc released in June of that year

I have a Pent D machine as my backup server and it can run BF4 with my 750ti. If anyone is crazy enough, I'd through a Titan X into it.

I think you're just trying to convince someone to "lend" you a titan X

Also P-Ds were Duals right, i mean its still cool, but i won't be sending you a titan X

FX-57 according to these guys

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III

:P Yeah, they're duals, but they're still old Pentiums. And nah, I know a few people who are getting Titan X's, so I maight actually be able to borrow one and try it out :D
