good specs im building mine soon too hopefully it all goes well for all of us

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Looks like a pretty awesome gaming PC to me! Only thing I would change with it is the GPU. Personally I would go for a 7970 because in my opinion there better at overclocking at you get that extra GB of VRam which will help in the future.
thanks ill look into the 7970

What does a 14 year old need 2 TB of storage for? i can barely use more then 500 gb's. Other then that sounds good!

I have no idea what I did but I some how managed to use up all the space on my 64gb SSD within the first month of using it.

- The H100 has a horrible price : performance ratio. You can get a Noctua NH-D14 or Phanteks PH-C14PE for less and will perform the same if not better than the H100. Alternatively, if you aren't going to be overclocking very high, grab a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for $35 as you'll be able to get a respectable overclock out of it.

- Grab 8GB of RAM versus 16GB as it's not going to give you any performance gain gaming wise.

- You should get smaller sized HDD 500GB-1TB for now and if you come close to filling it then you can purchase another.

- You could save around $65 by going with an ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, it'll do what you want it to do and will allow for SLI/CrossFireX in the future you did ever need it. Though the MPower board isn't too bad it's just you can get something less that will do what you need it to do.

Other than that it looks good. Good luck building!

I'm getting 16 gigs of ram for photoshop and Vegas

Pro editing and I like the look of the h100i

The 2 tb drive is 15 or so dollars more than the one tb and I will have uncompressed fraps vids in it

And I also like the look of the mpower board

Thanks for your advice though anyway

When I was 14 I used up more than 1TB of data (no, not porn). I, for example, work with video and audio and also have a lot of games, so there you go.
