I assume you're talking about the massive 65 GB GTA 5? I'd like to know aswell...

If they don't let you pre-load it, they are stupid.

Or they don't want the binaries to leak before the release date so pirates don't get a chance to release versions before it actually comes out.

If they release it one night before with a decent DRM, it won't be cracked.

Battlefield Hardline was preloaded on the 13th March and they still haven't cracked it :)

Or they could at least load the big files like textures and videos :)

Talking about GTA V, which on their Steam Store page mentions that you will be able to preload it

I just told you one...

I meant in general after a game comes out I have yet to see a DRM that works. For hardline I just assume they just didn't let people preload enough to make the game functional.

I'm pretty sure it has all the game files.

On Skidrow/Reloaded they said they have only just broke the DRM and are trying to crack

They don't always announce preloading till closer to the date. NBA 2k15 preloaded on my computer three days before the release and preloading wasn't announced till just hours before it started preloading and I believe its up to the developers.
