OK, so I've had this problem for a while and I've actually started several other threads about it, but have never been able to solve it.

What happens is that my internet keeps cutting out for a few seconds. Its gone and I get the little Q8Y1zoG.png for 4-5 seconds and then its back. What's weird is that it never happens while playing games online or streaming Spotify or anything similar. It does happen a lot when I'm just surfing around in chrome, though... happens about once every 5 minutes.

My ISP says they have no clue what it is and because it doesn't happen when playing games or anything, I suppose its probably a problem with my PC and not the router.

Has anyone ever heard of such a problem? Any ideas?

Odd.

Does it do it on any other device on your network?

Does it do it in IE or Firefox?

Run a continuous ping to any ip on the Internet

Open cmd and run: ping 23.25.64.2 -t

Recreate your issue. If you get loss Bigger issue if no loss try changing your computer network adapters DNS servers to the Google ones. : 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

OK, I'll give that a try. I'll need to wait for the issue to recur, it hasn't been happening often today.

OK, so I've been having the issue extensively today, so I started a continous ping. I get about 30-40 replies followed by one or two request timeouts. Oddly enough, since I started pinging the issue has not been occurring and my internet works fine.

Edit, as soon as I stopped pinging, it almost imediately started happening again...
