tech book recommendation

Go to solution Solved by atoff,

I really liked Ready Player One.  I'm really picky with books, but being a kid of the 80's, I thought it was pretty awesome.

Have you checked some of the lists on Goodreads?

Plug in one of your books and check out the related lists.  For example:

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/77904.Fiction_About_Gaming_In_General_And_Not_Specific_Real_World_Games_#16279856

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/3719.Hackers#16279856

zipped through eye of minds and ready player one. Neuromancer a bit to hatred, but right idea. Suggestions?

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

You want fiction or facts? Just for fun is really good if you like Linux. Rebel Code for more wider look on open source history.

Fiction

ST: Cold Equations - The Persistence of Memory.
If you're into scifi AI and cybernetics.
Also. ST: Titan: Synthesis.

I hear there's a Halo novel coming up that also deals primarily with AI. But I think it might be more the philosophy surrounding it than the tech.

"The wheel?" "No thanks, I'll walk, its more natural" - thus was the beginning of the doom of the Human race.
Cheese monger.
