PC Crashes; Screen Freezes & Audio Loop (Halp!)

Hey everyone. So basically I was playing some BF Hardline and I spawned into a vehicle and my screen froze, the audio sounded like a transformer (audio loop), and then my screen went black but my computer remained on. I had to hold the power button to restart. I had this happen once before in BF4 and the same thing happened but that time I was talking with a friend on Skype and I was still talking to him throughout the crash! I looked it up and what I found was that it's probably either a PSU or GPU failure. I am overclocking a GTX 645 GPU on a Dell XPS 8700 with (probably) a cheap PSU in it. Would the PSU or GPU be the problem, or is it something else? Halp!

lower your overclock

most likey it is overclocked too high and when it hits heavy  loads its like "no fuck this"

Ok, lol. It's weird that it's only happened once before and I have been playing these games at this overclock for like 3 months (well, at least BF4). Thanks for the reply!

I don't know all the reasoning behind it. But when it can't hold an overclock, that might happen. Sometimes it auto restarts your computer. Sometimes if it allows you to play games, there are a bunch of artifacts that come up on your screen. Like things start looking kinda weird in certain parts of your screen.

I get no artifacting and it has never restarted my PC and also the GPU has never been above about 67C. So yeah.
