I need help with my old laptop i was gonna give my old laptop (HP Pavilion DV7) away beacause it sucks and i was just looking what was al on there and i benchdmarked mafia 2 and it said GPU:Intel Hd 4000 and i kinda raged beacause it has another graphic card and i never used it now i wanna know how i swithc to that bigger GPU

 

Laptop Specs:

CPU:i5 2430m 2.4GHz

Ram: 6GB

GPU:Intel HD 4000 And the other one is a radeon but it wont tell me wich one.......*RAGE*

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

right click the program you want to run, there should be an option that says ''run with the gpu''(or sometin like that) click on it and select the AMD one. do not disable the HD4000 that might give you a huge blackscreen that last forever.(till you reset :p)

Open Catalyst Control Center and switch your GPU to High Performance... or did you have a muxless switching? Please post your Catalyst Control Center screenshot.

I think right clicking the program is only for Nvidia Optimus.

i never used a pc with şnet hd and amd so i didnt know it.

i think i found it i put everything to high performance lets test

 

Please post a screenshot of that, i need to know whether it use muxed or muxless.

 

Nope it still sucks at least in minecraft it can only run at 9 fps

 

What is your driver version?

 

and it can run killing flooor at 20 fps and mafia 2 at 13 fps but i cant put mafia 2 to high performance my laptop is such of a rage machine
