So i ordered all my parts and i was ready to build this week. But i got screwed over because the gpu i ordered was discontinued. So i have every single component ready except a gpu. It was a gigabyte r9 290x card and it was pretty cheap ($340+tax). I don't think I'll be able to find a deal as good as this one for a while. Should I wait it out and hope a good gpu deal comes up? Or should i just buy a weaker card right now (only have around $400)? Or should i just wait until the r9 300 series? I'm not sure what i should do considering i already have the other components of the build.

I would wait til the 300 series comes out, just to see what they have to offer. Otherwise, imo a 970 is a good option right now.
