Windows 8.1 recovery please help

I have a problem my p.c recovery drive has been deleted and I need to reinstall /start again please help me in this matter as I can't reinstall it without the recovery drive

hay so i have a pc and the hard drive has only got 92gb left of 2 teribite and the only reason is because of add wear and other bad shit so i want to take windows and put it on to my usb stick (64gb corshair vengance go) and after this i will format my drive will i be able to reinstall windows or will it fuck my pc up i only have one hard drive and realy cant even play csgo thx to blote wear btw i have a gtx 970 oc msi and a amd +3 8 core 4.8ghz so it is pissing me off i have used every program to remove this shit wont work so i am reseting my pc and also i have by accedent removed my recovery drive so yeah fucked

Ok first off

1. do you have your product cd key?
2. do you have an iso of your version of windows (or the original version and the upgrade disk)

If the answer to the two above questions is no, don't worry we can do this

 

To get your product serial key use this freeware utility (I have personally not used it but I have heard it works) write this number down twice on two pieces of paper without copying it from one paper to the other (to help eliminate errors) or print it out (even better)

 

to get an installable iso of windows 8.1 get a usb stick with at min 5gb free space and goto this link (Microsoft official site) and follow the directions on the page

yeah but one problem the copy of windows is one of the hp prebuilt pc will the key still work or am I buggered

should still work, it is just like if the key was on a sticker on the side of the case. the only way it would not work would be if you have a pirated key (possible if bought from a pawn shop as they don't check, I know from personal experience).

so if i formated my hard drive will it be ok if i got the instalation key on my usb stick and the windows 8.1 on the usb as well as i have no other hard drives

you already formated the HD? or you got the cd key? it should be an alpha-numeric string. as that is what It will ask you to put in when you reinstall. not a file as far as I know.

i havent yet but as soon as i get my download i will do this.so is it ok if i just format the drive and would i just right klick the drive then go to format or will that damage my system

The microsoft page details what steps to follow after the installation media is finished being installed to the flash drive. just be sure to get your product key first, the install should handle partitions, formatting and such.
