AreoHotah

Hi all. This is my first post here. I decided to build a new gaming pc since there are some pretty good titles coming out this year.

i did so e research these days and i decided i would like to go with a black and red design. Here are the parts.

case - nzxt h440

motherboard - asus maximus vii ranger

psu - evga supernova 750w g2

cpu - intel i5-4690k

cooler - cooler master v8 gts

ram - corsair vengeance pro 16gb

storage - x2 samsung 850 evo 500gb

gpu - x2 msi nvidia gtx 970

so yeah... any tips to make it better (and not much more expensive) are welcomed. Thanks alot.

i would go with just one ssd rather than two and then use a mechanical harddrive for mass storage.

For gaming, 8GB would be plenty, however, it never hurts to have more. For the storage, it would be more appropriate to go with a single 250GBish SSD with a 1 or 2 TB HDD. Aside from that, it looks good.

This is mostly what you had picked out but in a PCPP list.
I also changed the storage to a much better bang/buck.
If you want to get 1 part that's not in that color scheme but would give better performance you could get a NH-D14 cooler
I also picked a slightly cheaper motherboard that doesn't have any less than the one you picked.

You can also get replacement cables for the EVGA G2.

The Bitfenix extensions will still work fine though, if you don't want to spend £70+

The nzxt h440 case has to 2 visible ssd slots and putting just one inside will look "incomplete" trhough the glass panel, if you know what I mean... And puting 2 of 1tb each is out of the question mainly because I would never need more than 1tb.

You can't see the drives from the window in the case, well barely, but they are to short to see in the bays so it wouldn't matter unless you want to  do raid0, or get 2 more and do raid10
