Who also never takes painkillers?

Not that I ever had true or horrible pain, but my mom always takes Paracetamol and Ibuprofen and all....

Whenever I am sick she tells me to take Paracetamol and I always refuse.

I just don't like to rely on pain killers, call me weird, but I like to beat any pain, dizziness, headaches etc myself.

I even tried it once but it didn't do anything as far as I could tell.

Only if I was mauled by a bear or something would I take them, but then I would be up to morphine I imagine.

Depends on how bearable the pain is. If I have a pounding headache, I will take ibuprofen.

I only take Ibuprofen when I have a headache that won't go away even after trying to sleep it off.

I usually take meds, only because I'd rather be healthy then be in extreme pain for no reason other than being "macho"

I don't take any medications. Ever. Who knows what kind of chemicals they are trying to make us put into my body. Just my 2 cents

It's not about being 'macho' lol.

It's about not wanting to become reliant on medication or wanting my body to adapt on it's own.

There isn't even anybody to be 'macho' at.

Normal headaches are bearable, but severe migraines are something else. If you can sit through a severe migraine then you must be Chuck Norris

Fucking hell. Last time I got out of the dentist I was literally holding my lower lip with one hand and changing gears/holding the wheel with the other hand.

I dont take pain killers and i had an abscess. My dentist said i was crazy lol. Anyway, i dont take painkillers because i think it is stupid to take drugs for things like headaches and toothaches.

I do understand. I don't really like to rely on such as well, but sometimes you just have to give in.
