Get rid of it and get a different one.

 

But to answer your question seriously, not too sure why that might be happening. Maybe in it's settings it's going hard on videos etc with it's scan. Check to see it you can lower it's hostility. Else it might be doing a scan, for the first time on your PC, eating up all your processing power. 

 

Many questions, check some of that out.
