very good build indeed :)

you could probably save some money on the cooler by getting a 212x/evo and then use the leftover money for a 270x or something :D

edit: wheres the case, you may not absolutely need the aftermarket case fans either :P

Can we all just stop using the term bottlenecking already!

He's using a 750ti as well which is a pretty weak sauce card, so wouldn't that be a 'bottleneck' too?

Sorry I just realized it was a 750 i could have sworn I saw a different GPU

In that case there still shouldnt be a reason to buy a pentium with that budget. At least an i3

Im so patriotic, I piss red white and blue. My doctor told me it was pancreatic cancer, I told him to SHUT HIS COMMIE MOUTH.

even it wasnt, the pentium k works fine with most cards, just dont expect to be maxing out aaa titles.

linus even did a review of it and how it compares to the 4790k for gaming, the difference was minimal in most cases other than really demanding games,

IT depends which games, some games are more cpu intensive than others, an i5 is still, usually more common in that budget. Many games use more than two cores and only having two cores is a disadvantage for many games

so his budget for components isnt really all that high
