Youtube buffers for no reason

Youtube buffers and wont even start the video for like 5 minutes after opening it. how do i fix this? its on youtubes end. but i heard something about being able to have videos shown from a different server or something? helpsssss

 

internet speed is completly normal @ 25mbs/8mbs. Using a vpn doesnt do any changes.

Are you using Google Chrome?

I get the same issue some times. I've never known why the issue starts at all. If anyone has info I would also appreciate it! :)

Try using IE for YT, I had the same problem, it works perfectly fine in IE for me

Try using IE for YT, I had the same problem, it works perfectly fine in IE for me

Mine is like that only during peak hours though so it could just be our areas of just because youtube is recieving a much higher load at those times.

um yeah if you are using chrome that is just a virus... switch browsers and problem will be solved.

My mot her hadde this problem (sol ved it by getting her a new pc , she had a core 2 duo, onboard gpu and 2gb og ram)

Not really sure if this will help but I've been having a similar issue with YT on firefox lately. It seems that when the video is windowed it sometimes defaults to 480p for me and will get stuck buffering. When I manually select 720p for quality it starts playing right away and I no longer have any buffering.

use HTML5, it buffers quicker in my expierence.

Try changing DNS to Google's or OpenDNS.

YouTube does anything for no reason lol, but it has been doing weird things lately.

Are you using HTML5?
