ok, so i have a fun one....

i own 2 rigs. one for me and one for my gf. i recently upgraded my gpu and decided to put the old one in sli on my gf's rig, giving her 2 gtx 780's in sli. it is on an msi z87-gd65 gaming motherboard. finished installing and booted, but no sli option where it should be in the nvidia control panel.

i tested each card individually, they work.

i swapped locations on the motherboard, still no sli option.

i read the manual to make sure they were in the correct pci slots, they were correctly in slots 2 and 5.

i switched them anyway, obviously no improvement there.

i popped out both cards and put them in MY rig- worked like a charm.

i attempted using ddu, to no avail.

i tried a completely fresh install of windows and all drivers- no luck.

nothing on the motherboard, gpu or bridge show any sign to suggest fault.

i am at the end of my rope on this one. can anybody help? pretty please? im begging.

maybe. i assumed 750 would be enough.

750W is plenty, but what brand/model is ur power supply?  if its a cheap one it might not give you enough 12v juice.  are you sure your cables (psu to gfx) are not faulty?  try the PSU from your PC.  it might be a bit of work but I would imagine it would be worthwhile.
