What is the best type of clothing material for working with computers, Polyester or Cotton(electricity wise)?

no clothing is the best,

ive never had a problem with cloths as long as you have something nearby to discharge every once and a while,

i just use my watch as an anti static wrist band

Ceramic is one of the best as far as price/performance.

 

Answering... ground yourself every few minutes.

It doesnt matter because then you work on a computer it should be OFF

i would assume he means for static

cause some clothing builds up lots of static

high electrical resistance is what causes static electricity...so that wouldn't make sense because hes asking for an insulating matterial

I do ground myself every few minutes, however, I like to keep the possibility as low as possible that I'll destroy my $100 CPU. Just wanted to know which one is better for reducing my chances of killing something off.

get a watch xD, so when ever your overcharged it will buzz the watch

its how i describe it

i build a lot of static electricity up through out the day, every hour to 2 hours i can feel my hand shock my watch, 

The watch isn't grounded, anyway.
