Razer Chroma vs Cherry MX

So I am getting a k70 rgb, but I have a quick question.

Are the razer chroma switches more similar to cherry MX red or Cheery MX brown?

I love the feel of the chroma switches but want a cherry MX keyboard similar to it.

They are about the same the Chroma has much nicer lighting.

I think they are closer to Browns but make the noise of blues

The Chroma's "Razer Green" (Kaihl) switches are most comparable to CherryMX Blues.

Also you can go to a near best buy and the most likely have both to try out

Quality was its not even close to cherry switches build quality wise Corsair and Razer are pretty close and I've tried out both, the RGB Corsair keyboards have way to many issues for me to even consider recommending.

It's a solid keyboard, I own one and haven't encountered even 1 problem.... Would take it over a Razer Chroma any day.

Delays with key-presses being recognized, random ghosting of keys, the most common thing is the lighting profile will lock up if the software crashes. Oh and the polling rates are all sorts of messed up. Having a polling rate of 1 or 4 causes delays on some keyboards.

Haven't experienced this besides maybe a crash once in a blue moon which is solved with 2 mouse clicks.

Still it wouldn't be something I would want to risk, plus No more MX Blue RGB k70/K95's so yeah I personally don't like browns or reds they are to light for me.

The issues that I was talking about have happened to a number of people I know, some of them have been live streaming when the issues would happen.

Consider your self lucky, those issues are the reason why I wouldn't recommend one but wouldnt be against someone getting one over the Chroma cause of the switches

I ended up getting the cherry mx blues as i love the clickys Reds felt too mushy like a membrane keyboard. Thanks everyone
