Hey, you are deadly in that thing! I usually do to cutlasses what M50s do to me. It doesn't work with you, though, you never let me orbit you and shoot your sides so I have to settle for actually working for my points!

I found what works best was to check that lead pip reticle option, gimbal lock mounts and, if need be, change your mouse sensitivity settings. My ship maneuvers and fires as accurately as it did gimballed. Still don't have to worry for the cutlass as there doesn't even exist s4 guns, and their are only like one or two s3. So you can gimbal everything on a cutlass as s2 and still not worry.

 

I really should get on with you guys at some point. Changed my work schedule, so I shouldn't have as much issues going on at the same time anymore.

What pisses me off the most is that both of my Panther Repeaters ($40) are now worthless. They need to issue the opportunity for refunds.

They are already in the works of allowing voyager direct to be meltable, so no worries. You could technically put in a support ticket so you can be revised on how soon that will actually be. For those that are fact-nazi'ng... it was mentioned by devs a number of times before and after the REC implementation.

 

I remember that the cutlass does have two spots that can still non gimbal s3, have you tried that? Also, the turrets will supposedly come in different size variants (s3, s2, etc) and the blue will have larger hardpoint spaces (supposedly). Hopefully that helps.

Very true. To be honest, the weird thing about how the cutlass runs is that it ignores that fact; since the thrusters magically flip back and forth split second. However, when an actual thruster fires, the ship barely rotates or turns. So it feels like those monstrous appendages don't really have much power to them.

 

Honestly wouldn't mind for the thrusters to involve an overheating or tension warning/limit as that mechanic would be a very nice touch.

The way the motor reacts means its a powerful motor but the issue with that is that the engines experience massive g forces when changing direction. I have a feeling when the cutlass is done it'll fly more like the cutlass on the advert

Its not a good thing! I'm hoping they strike a deal with vans and converse because I black out so much I'm fed up with looking at those awful shoes!

I only black out in the Cutlass in Single Player Vanduul swarm, cuz Warlord and Vixen are useless and I have to cover my own six.
