Budget PCs - First Pc build

Need help to choose which Pc to build. One is a budget Pc and the other is also a budget but not gaming orientated. They are both similar prices.

Honestly, if your budget is anything similar to the prices of those PCs, you wont be able to do much gaming unless it is minecraft.

Alright sorry I am new to this. My budget is £280. I will be using this for schoolwork and gaming such as minecraft and steam games.

I think spending slightly more for a 260x on the Pentium build is definitely going to be worth your money.

Ok this was what I was thick ng of as a later upgrade. Should I go with the Pentium build and upgrade with an R7 260x later?

In my opinion if it's budget, then I'd go with the Amd FX6300, it's no beast but will before better with games becoming better coded for multiple cores, and it's bloody cheap.

Mobo for an AM3+ will be basically the same price.

If you had even more cash is say go for an i5,

There is quite a risk on eBay and i dont recommend new PC builders to find used parts

Ok then you dont need much power to run those games. I suggest using an AMD processor as a previous user suggested

does that price include the cost of the OS?

at that price there isnt much benefit of building your own PC as most companies dont pay much for Windows OS

some will have integrated gpus, however you probably won't have an enjoyable experience (usually).
