Hi guys Im new to LinusTechTips forum so Hi.

I have a zotac 970 omega with an i5 3450 processor. It runs well with no bottlenecking. Im planning to buy abother 970 and sli both of the cards but Im not sure if my processor can handle it. Oh btw i have 650w corsair psu.

Depends which games also, I have a i7-2600k in one of my rigs with Crossfire 290Xs, runs fine.

The low clock speed of the locked processor will make the upgrade a waste. You want lots of clock speed with 2 card setups
