Memory running slow

Go to solution Solved by Tedster,

DDR = Double Data Rate.

DDR3 = Double Data Rate revision III.

1600 = 800 *2.

It's running at 1600Mhz.

I was looking at task manager when I noticed that my 1600MHz memory seemed to be running at 800MHz

Any ideas on whether this is just task manager reading it wrong or do i need to jump into the BIOS
