Far Cry 4

Go to solution Solved by shert73,

Right click on Far Cry 4, properties, Game files and verify game files or something along those lines.

ended  up being MSI Afterburner, shut it down and it worked fine. Read the fix on another forum. I cant think of any reason MSI afterburner would mess it up

Purchased Far Cry 4 off Steam, got it downloaded and installed. Made a Uplay account and launch the game. Than about 30 sec after launching it crashes and a window pops up says Far Cry 4 stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. than i get 2 options; Check online for a solution and close the program or, just Close the program. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Running Windows 7 64bit, PC specs in sig.

Don't bother with "Check online for solution" as it literally always says that message.

Try verifying your files in UPlay because sometimes installations can go wrong.

So i should just uninstall than re-install it?

No verify your files.

P.S verify it through steam, I thought you only had it on uplay.

Sometimes MSI Afterburner can mess with clock speeds but I don't see how that effects launching a game...

Yeah, doesn't make sense to me either.
