overclocking r9 295x2

Hi guys just need help with 2 things

 

1- how do i turn Fan speed of R9 295x2 graphic card in cytalyst software as i dont see any options its running very slow.

 

2-What is the normal temp of this GPU?

 

3-IS their any guide how to over clock it (please send link thanks)

2. Around 80 degrees is good, over 90 and you are in trouble.

3. Cannot find any links to that. Also configured in the BIOS

LOL, yeah sure. That is overclocking the speed of the pci speed. That increases the speed of the pcie slot. Which in this case is 32gbps. No gpus can even max pcie 2.0 yet. So overclocking a pcie 3.0 will give a total of 0% increase of performence. And it may decrease stability.

No you dont. Dude overclocking PCIE increases the pcie speed. The PCIE speed is not maxed by any modern gpu.

That is like saying modern gpus max out pcie 3.0 x16

Why do you use 1223MHz DDR4 ???

This software is not accurate my memory is at around 2400 mhz

QepicKneusje - correct, your teachers are stupid.

 

im not sure of the normal temps, but the max temp is 75 before it starts to throttle. if you try to increase the voltage the temps get to that very quickly. so its best to NOT mess with voltage on this card.

 

i used the new Crimson software.

1) open crimson software

2) click ongaming

3) select any game

4) click on Profile Overdrive

5) use sliders

 

multiple articles i came across give the following information:

 

power should be upped to 150% (or +50% more if using crimson software)

core clock can go up to 1100 easily with stock voltage (up from 1018 or about an 8% increase). do not increase voltage, this causes card to throttle

memory can be increased to 1.6ghz easily (up from 1250mhz or about 22% increase) (this is 6ghz effective up from 5ghz effective) - not sure what the means but yeah
