Razer deathadder chroma problem? Help!

So i bought a new razer deathadder chroma and everything seemed to work fine.

I had razer synapse installed because i had another razer mice, and it updated just fine.

 

Then 2 days later i went to a LAN-party with my friends, here everything went wrong.

 

First the mouse stopped working. I thought it was the power and stuff but it was the mice or pc.

 

I plugged the mice into my friends computers and it worked fine, but not on mine.

 

What happens is:

The mouse usually works when you plug it in. Then after 5 min it starts to "freeze" sometimes.

Then if you roll the mwheel, the mouse becomes unable to use for 2 seconds. Then it shutsdown, re-plugging it won't work, but after a while you can try and plug it in and it will work. However after 5 min the same thing happens and the mouse stops working.

 

It worked perfectly fine for hours before lan, but not now??

 

 

I tried re-installing synapse with the mouse both plugged and not plugged.

 

Any help please?

Worked for maybe 30 min but the problem is back.

 

When i use the scrollwheel the screen freezes for 2 seconds.

The mice is completely dead. However the lighting is on, but it doesn't work to move it around.

It sounds like you bought it pretty recently. I would just contact Razer and get them to replace the mouse. Otherwise, you were saying that the issue only occurred after a period of time, so how long did you take to test it on other machines?

I only tested it for 10 seconds.

 

The reason for this was that it from time to time was completely dead. So i thought it was completely destroyed but when i connected it to someone else's computer it worked.

 

It's probably a problem with the mouse i guess. I will ask to get it replaced.
