Let's say i wanna play Osu while CSGO is running in the background, my 4440 seems to be struggling with it. Would an upgrade to an i7 help a bunch in terms of FPS?

The main difference between an i5 and i7 is hyperthreading. Not a great deal of applications out there care about hyperthreading so the benefits to "regular" people are pretty much non-existent.

But it would help if he wanted to run 2 games at once wouldn't it?

Multiple cores would help but not hyperthreading. Unless the games are HT aware they simply ignore the "extra" virtual cores in the system.

No dead cam in CSGO is going to last as long as a song in Osu...

he didn't say he was playing comp. In 12 v 12 or 16 v 16 casual servers it can last quite a while.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
