Newly built system keeps freezing or automatically rebooting after 5ish minutes?

These are the relevant specs

FX 8320

Kingston HyperX 4gbx2

Sapphire R9 290 Vapor X

XFX XTR 650W PSU Modular and with gold efficiency

The system is constantly freezing or would outright just reboot itself after a few minutes of use. Do you guys suspect it is a due to the PSU?

the XTR is a decent quality and 650w is more than enough so thats not it

maybe bad ram?

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Bad RAM? Any ways to confirm that it is bad RAM?

Hmm alright, will try that thanks for the input. I am using a Scythe Ninja 3 though, Not much room to move the RAM modules about.

Have you done any form of overclocking?

Back on RAM, try to set to default settings (do not use XMP) then retest each stick. If you were seriously unlucky, it's possible they can't run the XMP profile.
