Hello, 

I am trying to record a game with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and I can't. I try to use Game Capture and it completely crashes my game. If I use Monitor Capture it captures only a black screen, even when I have the window open. 

 

Specs: 

AMD 8350fx 4.0 GhZ

R9 290 

600w 80+ bronze

16 gb's ram

Have you tried other programs like DXtory, Xsplit, Bandical, Fraps, etc...?

Bandicam was a pain in the ass to use, same with DXTory and XSplit, and fraps is too big of a file to edit.

???

how is it a pain to use? its a basic recording program...

and you can change quality settings to make smaller files...

never had any problems with the free version of Xsplit.com/linus

The watermark on Bandicam is sooooo annoying

Thats because you have to pay for it...?

Do you expect everything in life to be free?

lol

use AMD's game DVR software if you want, its worse than shadowplay but does similar stuff with better fps impact than obs
